✔ The GSM-AUTO 4G version is a wireless remote on/off switch that can be controlled by connecting to a 4G mobile phone network. Through the SIM card and pay-as-you-use (PAYG) plan, it can be connected to 4G or 3G or GSM cellular networks. The SIM card slot is on the top of the GSM-AUTO 4G module.
✔ Activate the machine by typing in its mobile phone number. The unit cannot answer voice calls, but when a call is sensed, its logic will activate one or two output relays in a pre-programmed sequence. Since the device does not answer the call, the activation of the relay will not incur any call charges to the PAYG plan or the caller.
✔ GSM-AUTO has two independent relays. They have normally open and normally closed contacts. They can be programmed to open between 1 second and 18 hours. In addition, you can set a delay time between relay 1 and 2 switch. By sending SMS to GSM-AUTO, you can activate the programmed relay operation

We were looking for a GSM cell remote switch for our aircraft to operate the engine pre-heater. After research we found that this unit ( DIY - you need to add the AC cordage and get am inexpensive data only SIM card ) performs the same as other more expensive units. Having an internal AC-DC module, it eliminates the need for an external wall wart for the PCB board DC power and another cable to deal with. The unit otherwise works the same as others of the same ilk, being programmed and controlled with defined Text messages. It also comes with a USB PC programming adapter that works with their PC programming software. One star came off for several things that could be improved on. The PC software ( so programing can be done utilizing a PC and the included USB adapter ) linked to by the manual does not seem be able to be loaded on to a Windows 10 machine without .dll issues. The lack of a MacOS version of the software. Even though offered on their web site, can't seem to get their iOS app in the US ( off of the app store ) to control it .The terminal screws are really too small to support larger gage wires. A simular unit, at a similar price ( without the internal AC-DC module, that requires a wall wart, has larger terminal screws to accept larger spade and gage wires. I suspect theses units are all made by a handful of Chinese manufactures using the same basic PCB and firmware. Other than the noted issues, so far it operates well, coming with both an stub GSM antenna and an an extension antenna for improved reception. So far, using the Speedtalk alarm sim recommended by the listing ( T-Mobile net I believe ) it operates well with minimal delay time between issuing switch commands, switching taking place and return status message. This unit also has an alarm input, in which when two terminals shorted or opened, a text message with the status will be sent to one or more phone numbers. This could be connected to a door contact or motion detector for a simple security system. Even with the issues noted, because of the price point and features, this unit is recommended .I purchased 3 of these units so far 2 of them work 25% of the time and I’m giving up and returning themThis works butYour supposed to be able to save phone numbers to the unit.And only those numbers will turn on the relayBut the unit says it stored the number. With a confirmation text but when you check no number was stored.May have to go back
