So far, one of the best home purchases we've made.Pros:-Quiet, even at max speed! I was a little worried about rattling or a loud motor, but so far so good.-Smaller than our previous fan (which was too large for the space) but still just as effective, which was my biggest concern.-Aesthetically AWESOME - we love not having to stare at a propeller when the fan's not running; the light shining through the crystals makes some cool (but subtle) patterns on the floor, ceiling, walls; fits in really well with the overall vibe we're going for.-Our household has different light level needs/preferences - being able to adjust the color temp AND the brightness separately was one of the things I looked for when deciding on a fan/light, and this fan 100% meets our needs in this respect.-Everything was really carefully and neatly packed (ships directly in packaging, not packed by Amazon AFAIK) so the fan was in perfect condition when we unpacked it.Cons:(Note: I was aware of these things from reading other reviews and ultimately decided we would deal, and I don't consider them serious enough issues to prevent recommending this ~fandelier~)-Beeping remote. Only really beeps when changing fan settings and turning light/whole thing on or off, and it's not the worst sound I've ever heard, but being able to mute the beeps would be a valuable upgrade.-Installation instructions are crap. Not surprising, and other reviews mentioned this also. The brand has their own video showing some of the assembly, but if you're new to ceiling fan installation in general, it's only okay. A youtuber - I wanna say his name is maybe Mr Remote? - has a super helpful video where he installs a similar (but not identical) model of fandelier, which I found more useful. Watching that helped the installation go a lot smoother.------------------------------------------If anything changes, I will try to update this review, but so far we're really happy with it. It's doing a great job of both 1) lighting our space in whichever way we need it to and, 2) circulating air to keep our house at a comfortable temperature. Oh, and 3) being nice to look at, instead of just a thing we tolerate because we need ceiling fans to cope with the regional climate.Sorry didn't have a picture showcasing the light, but there are plenty of those. This is my wife's new bathroom. The light is not illuminated above the tub in this pic. We were looking for something that could blend well in a bathroom that blends and showcases both masculine and feminine style. The fan was easy to assemble and install. ELECTRICAL NOTE: Originally, we had two switches, one for fan and one for light. This product only has single fixture wiring. There is no separate fan/light wire (usually a blue wire and a black wire with traditional ceiling fan/lights.) I capped the extra power wire at the fixture and removed the live wire from the extra switch. Now that extra switch is just a dummy switch that does nothing. However, the active switch can actually control the modes of the light. With each subsequent selection OFF then ON, the mode switches. For example, first OFF/ON turns on the light, next couple of OFF/ON selections changes the kelvin color (temperature) of the light to warm, cool, etc., then the next OFF/ON turns light on with fan, then next is fan only. You cannot change the fan speed or dim the lights using the switch, but I still feel it is a pretty cool feature if you ever lost the remote! We updated this house with smart Lutron Caseta switches and both the switch and pico remote work very well for this mode function. NOTE: do not use the Lutron dimmer in this application, just the off/on version. I think the product number is P-PKG1WS-WH. Hope this helps.This is a nice look light and fan. Quiet and fan works great! However… the remote is cheap and does NOT work consistently nor well. It is also more complicated than any ceiling fan remote should beThis item it’s so beautiful it is indescribable. My husband put it up for me it is silent you cannot hear it you can adjust the color it is just beautiful. It was easy to put together easy to put up I am just in awe every time I look at it. It was worth every penny I spent on it beautiful classyI thought this was glass, but it is not, it is plastic. I did not know that until the boxes were opened the day the electrician came. I thought: "Too late now". But you know what? When these are up they look just like glass. No one will ever know. Just gorgeous and perfect in my home. I just love them.This fandelier is perfect size for my hallway. It is beautiful. I wish it wasn't hidden in my upstairs hallway where no one really sees it. I may order another for my kitchen. It is quiet also.This fan is exceptionally beautiful. Almost breathtaking. The problem is...we can not get it to work. I will write an update...and change my opinion once we determine if it is our outlet or the fan.We replaced our old traditional design with this unit in our living room and ise it to move air for both coolingandheating. It works great. The blade design moves more air than the fixed blade one we replaced. Very happy.However, not long after we installed the new unit, we got a bill from FedEx for duty fees. The supplier has confirmed free shipping but has nothing about it. We will co tinge to investigate.
