This is pretty much exactly like the original Xbox 360 controller except for a few buttons. Also note that this does not come with an dongle so you will need on to connect to your PC. The one in my picture is actually one I already had. Back to the controller design, the two center buttons usually start and back are moved to the right side below the action buttons. I assume it was moved their to make room for the LED lights as two of the LED lights are on right where those button should be. That being said, it does take some getting used to if you are use the the original controller. There is also a small button behind the left side of the controller that controls the LED light. You can turn it on or off. There is no special patterns or anything for the LED light. Also if you are going to use the LED light know that it will effect the battery life of the AA batteries. Also the controller is see through and you pretty much see all of the internal components. Other than those few differences, the controller is pretty much the same in performance. There was no lag issues or control drifting. It also has the same distance as a normal Xbox 360 controller. It pairs just the same as the original controller. It does not take more than five seconds to pair. It will connect to an Xbox 360 or a Microsoft 360 controller dongle. I mostly use it for my computer games. The controller works really well and can use all the same functions as the original controller. You can access the home screen and such. The material is a bit smoother but it does not cause any issues with grip. The buttons all feel pretty good. They take sometime to break in but they are responsive. The joystick material does not feel as nice as the original but it operates just fine. Overall this is a good controller to have that gives you the light up look while also having something very easy to pair and reliable.You get what you pay for and it’s not a bad controller at all! Considering it was 14 bucks I’d say it was a score for an extra controller if you have guests - however I followed the steps to connect it to my ps4 and as soon as I unplug it it stays wireless connected for about 30 seconds or so and then powers off regardless of full battery? But if you leave it connected with the cord the whole time it works perfectly!I got this for my son. He loves it and uses it everyday. Once we figured everything out no problems at all.The d pad is a little off and tilted to the left. Hasnt bothered my 8 yr old but if you are serious about gaming then might consider something else. Perfect for him though!Works great! The lights are so cool, but they drain batteries pretty quick.I bought this for my husband for a second controller it works but does not charge on his charging dock have to plug it in on its own with micro USB.Disconnects often and EATS batteries. Otherwise cool lolOnly good thing I can say about this controller is that its like $12, Other then that all the buttons are super mushy, battery life is so bad maybe 2 hours on a full charge and the worst issue is the deadzones legit feels like its either all or nothing with both sticks.Save like $10 more and get something useableChristmas gift hope he enjoys it
