Story The sequel to the million-plus selling Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 sees the player take on the role of former Motocross champion Chuck Greene, who has come to Fortune City, America's newest gambling paradise, to compete in "Terror is Reality," a gruesome game show that dares contestants to survive zombie-filled environments for big money prizes at the delight of TV audiences around the globe. Chuck's motivation for taking part and risking life and limb is his daughter Katey, who since being bitten by a zombie requires a daily dose of Zombrex to prevent her from turning into one of the living dead. There's no denying that Zombrex works, but since it's the only drug on the market, its price is high. During his time in Fortune City a zombie outbreak occurs and Chuck must survive the onslaught of the undead for 72 hours. Pitted against two fearsome threats - tens of thousands of zombies and the constant countdown of the clock - while potentially rescuing other survivors of the zombie apocalypse, players must also unravel the greater conspiracy behind the outbreak and as importantly find the Zombrex necessary to stop Katey from joining the ever growing zombie horde. Gameplay Dead Rising 2 delivers more of the signature gameplay that the series is known for plus a number of new features. Players who might need some help or simply want to share the zombie bashing fun with a friend will now be able to play in online 2-player co-op. Simply use the in-game transceiver to call for assistance at any time and once your partner has accepted, they will arrive by your side for double the action. With hundreds of zombies on screen at any one time, the original Dead Rising forced gamers to take everyday objects they found in the mall and use them as weapons. But now, in Dead Rising 2 with thousands of zombies filling every square inch of Fortune City, Chuck is going to need to be even more resourceful and inventive by creating combination weapons to save the day. Players will be able to take two objects, a roll of tape and with a little inventiveness create an advanced zombie-killing combo weapon - a piece of wood and a lawnmower become Portamower, the handheld mower that cuts zombies down to size in an instant; while a garden rake and car battery combine to create an electrified zombie prod. The more combo weapons a player uses, the more Prestige Points (PPS) they will gain along the way in order to level up Chuck. This was my first Dead Rising game due to me not being able to get the first due to a lack of a 360 (fix this Capcom make it for PS3) and I loved it...so many ways to kill a zombie but so little time to do so! It is possible to beat the game in like the first day you get this, but the fact remains that there is actually so much to do like try one the many outfits in the game (lets face it you guys...we all know EVERYONE wants to play as Chuck in his underwear cause he's that hot ;D ) there's also to do all minigames and environment events to gain PP or just for fun, and of course... to find out HOW many ways u can kill the zombies (especially when trying to unlock all the acheivements) the Story is wonderful and humorous. Sure its also has to do with American pop culture stereotypes and makes it a bit corny..but..thats why we LOVE it! :D Also the online Multiplays is actually fast paced and no significant signs of lag. Now the whole pack itself was in wonderful condition. The game and bonus BLu Ray Disc came in an awesome steel casing. Love the Artbook that has concept sketches on Chuck and the Psychopaths and zombies. The Zombrex Syringe Pen was actually cute and a laugh to use ( IT EVEN CAME WITH A ZOMBREX BAND-AID!! XDDD ) The Prescription pad, the Safety Card and the Zombrex Brochure was just so Corny... and I loved it because it was. The only thing I was dissapointed about was that the DLC voucher for the Dead Rising 2 Dynamic theme was expired even though it's NEVER been used. I DID expect this though since the games been out for more than a Year so I MIGHT call Capcom and see what they can do ( though I didnt hear much good things about other people who went through the same problem but I'll try). Other than that I had a blast with this... TOTALLY Recommend it for others!I bought 1 of these from the seller Salem's Lot used and it was missing the bandage but the seller refunded our shipping very fast because of the missing piece and let us keep the set but we still wanted the bandage so I bought 1 from the seller Serpy76 which was new and had the bandage in it and then I ended up with 2 so both my twin daughters get a set now.I would definitely buy from these sellers again.Now for the Dead Rising 2 Collecters Set.It includes a 2 disc steel book case which looks like a pill package which is cool,a bonus disc,a zombrex syringe pen with zombrex bandage in it which is awesome,a prescription notepad,zombrex safety card and a prospectus brochure which all looks so cool and a hardcover art book.It is such a cool set for any fan of Dead Rising.My twins loved it and they each have 1 now.The game itself is a total blast and I find myself playing through it multiple times because let's face it, killing zombies is bad ass! I love everything about the game and the collectors edition except that my zombrex pen does not have the blue liquid. It seems to have dried out and upon looking inside the box it came in the only conclusion I can come to is that it either evaporated leaving a bluish residue inside the pen chamber or that it was not closed properly on the assembly line. If you want the game I would go with the standard edition, but if you want to take a gamble on if your pen will come as advertised be prepared for disappointment.This came at a great time and it was un-damaged. I really liked this edition because it was fairly cheap when I got it and it came with a lot inside. I really enjoyed the pen because just as I was unboxing it, my brother came in the room and really thought it was an actual syringe and flipped out.The only thing that I didn't really like was the way the company packaged the map. They basically just stuffed it in the box so the poster was extremely bent, i tried flattening it out but even after 2 weeks of putting different things on top of it, it still was going different directions.DEADRISING 2 this game is great cause of the hours you can spend killing zombies with combo weapons and saving survivors. This game is garrentied to stay on your playlist for a long time I can promise you that.. the collectors edition comes with the very nice zombrex steel case, the artbook, a zombrex siringe pen and bandage, a persciption notepad, this is a great buy considering hope cheap the price is this a deal i recommend this to everybody and dont let the folded up brochure bother you just put it in a book or under your mattress for a while and it will get straightened out... BUY BUY BUY this is a great productI love the game but everything thats included in this package isn't very good. The artbook is very small and short, the Zombrex book is pointless to have and the DLC theme is not as good as I thought it was going to be. I do like the Zombrex needle pen and the notepads that come with it. Overall, the best thing about this package is the game and the case that comes with it but for the price it is, and if you love Dead Rising 2, its worth it.It's a great game! Beat the zombies and psychos on fortune city and save your daughter from zombification while cleaning your name! The Zombrex edition is a must have for all zombies fan! Zombrex pen and the zombrex chart worth every cent. And if you are from Brazil like me buy from Amazon and get your DR2-zombrex ed. fast, intact and low price!Voucher in game does not work,so I contacted Capcom which in turn said they needed to contact Sony to resolve the problem.That was over THREE WEEKS AGO!!!!I haven't heard back from Capcom since,.This is not what I call good customer service.I paid for a collector editions to get all the extras, not be given the run around.Shame on Capcom.Loved the game and the extras, decent price.
