This was one of the first games I played on PS3; at that time, I didn't appreciate it as much as, say, Uncharted or God of War II, but it was good. Having just played it again recently, I was shocked at how much fun it is.It's a simple, arcade-style shooter with mechs, aliens, and an anime-like storyline (though you won't miss much by skipping over the cutscenes). It features 11 missions which range from ten minutes to over an hour of play-time, each complete with a boss battle. Now, here's what's so great about it: the sheer diversity of everything. There are a bunch of different mechs you can pilot, each with different capabilities; every level has a unique design, from snow-drenched cities to volcanic caverns; there are loads of weapons and plenty of opportunities to try them out; and you're pitted against such variant enemies--humans, machines, giant snow worms, alien insects, etc.Besides all that, the gameplay can get a bit choppy when there's a whole lot going on (i.e. most boss battles) and the constantly declining health bar forces you to keep moving and shooting, which may be a turn-off for many players. I, however, attest that the game would be way too easy without this feature. The average gamer could finish this in two to three sittings which, for such an inexpensive game, is a pretty good deal.If you find yourself still breaking out the ole PS3 and want to try something satisfying, this is highly recommended. The packaging from the 3rd party was okay almost got damage but the game was safe.that's it, the game is a good one at the beginnig, figthing against those bugs and riding those robots. Grafics are not that cool but that's what you get for a 720 resolution. The bosses are really good, except the last one, supposed to be the most difficult but really, dont worth the effort, too easy if u are an experienced player. The story has no intensity, and the character seems to be a rookie more than a respectable soldier. But the game is fun, hope that the second is better...I ussualy don't play any 3rd person games since i am more a FPS. Decided to buy this game mostly because it was cheep and i was tired of dark background games(i had finished playing Killzone 2 trice)and liked the idea of a white background(snow). I like the game, the only issue is it has a verry poor button control; the same button gets you out/inside a battle suit and also removes/atach weapons. You have to move around the desired object until the correct funtions appears and then it is mostly too late and you get killed. Also your character moves too slow, I agree in the snow it has to move slow but on hard surface like inside a building this shouldn't be the case. Overall I still think it is fun game to play.when i got this game. the game play needs to do little better on the ps3 verion. but there is a few ways to get all almost all the levels to get your thermal energy up to 9999 is to start out strong take every each step like one enemies at a time and the online is really good because it doesn't matter which console you get for ps3 or xbox 360 or you can get pr hits verion because that gots the new stuffs...At times a little frustrating with the frequent and constant deaths during boss battles, but once you get the patterns and necessary tactics needed to defeat a boss which is easy nowadays thanks to Youtube, the frustration will pass. Overall, a good old school game if your looking to pick up a cheap game that you missed getting back in the day when PS3's first came out. This is just a great game. loved it when I played it when it originally came out. Still a challenge. It made me give Lost Planet 3 a go and I actually liked it this time. I bought it years ago and left it in the closet bc at that time it wasn't good. The game overall was unique to its kinda and was decent at most. The controls were not the greatest, since the movements were choppy and requires a lot of effort to aim properly. Graphics were good but very choppy and the frame rates were pretty bad. Also the game tends to lag down during big fights. I would recommend the game since it was only $15.00, but I feel bad for the people whou bought the game at $59.99. I hope Lost Planet 2 will have better movement and controls.El producto, esta en estado muy bueno. El juego es el origen de una gran saga, que en su tercera parte bajo mucho de calidad. Pero en esta ocasión es un muy buen juego de acción.GoodPERFECTgreatloved it was a good game and maybe wasnt as fun as i thought it would be but if u like the others u will like this
