We had a Renogy Wanderer first. The place to connect the 4 (or six in some cases) wires was very cramped and easy to short circuit, which I did several times. Also the Renogy monitor is very small and difficult to read if it is placed in an out of the way location. Being larger, the Epever has a very visible monitor screen and easy to install wire connectors. I also like the two USB connection being so easy to access. Of course this type of MPPT controller is much more sensitive and efficient which may not be a large concern to minimal users with one or two panels.
